How to Choose the Right CBD Gummies

So You Want to Try CBD Gummies

Gummies are the most popular thing we sell, and it makes sense. They're easy, they taste good, and you don't have to measure anything or deal with droppers. But if you've ever stood in front of a wall of gummy options — or scrolled through a hundred of them online — you know it can feel overwhelming fast.

Here's how we'd walk you through it if you came into the shop.

What Kind of CBD Is in There

This is the first thing we ask about. You'll see three main types on labels: full spectrum, broad spectrum, and isolate. Full spectrum means you're getting the whole plant — CBD plus other cannabinoids and a tiny amount of THC (under 0.3%, which is the legal limit). A lot of people prefer this because the different compounds may work better together. Broad spectrum is similar but with the THC removed. And isolate is just pure CBD, nothing else.

None of these is "better" across the board. It depends on what you're comfortable with and what you're looking for. If you're not sure, full spectrum is what we recommend most often as a starting point.

How Much CBD Per Gummy

This one trips people up because brands label things differently. Some put the total CBD for the whole bottle on the front. What you actually want to know is how many milligrams are in each gummy. Most people start somewhere in the 10 to 25mg range per serving and adjust from there.

If you're new to CBD, start on the lower end. You can always take more. You can't take less after the fact.

What Are You Hoping It Helps With

This matters because not all gummies are formulated the same way. Some are made for general daily wellness, some are built around sleep, and some are designed for specific situations.

Koi Anytime Balance Gummies are a great everyday option. They're full spectrum, they taste good, and they're designed to be taken daily as part of your routine. A lot of our regulars keep a jar at home and take one in the morning or after work.

If sleep is the issue — and honestly, that's what brings a lot of people through our door — take a look at VitaDreamz SleepEZ Pillowz. They combine CBD with other natural sleep-supporting ingredients, and we've had really positive feedback from customers who were struggling to wind down at night.

For something with broad spectrum CBD and a really solid flavor, CBDfx Mixed Berry Gummies are hard to beat. They're vegan, they use organic ingredients, and the mixed berry flavor is genuinely good — not that fake candy taste you get with some brands.

Check the Lab Results

This is something we feel strongly about. Every product we carry has third-party lab testing, and we make those results available. A Certificate of Analysis (COA) tells you exactly what's in the product — the cannabinoid levels, whether it passed testing for pesticides and heavy metals, and whether the label matches what's actually inside.

You can check COAs for our products on our lab results page. If a company won't share their lab results, that's a red flag.

Come Talk to Us

The nice thing about buying gummies from a local shop instead of online is that you can ask questions and get honest answers. We've tried most of what we carry, and we hear feedback from customers every single day. Browse what we have in the online shop, or better yet, stop in and let us help you find the right fit.
