There's Still Plenty Going On

If you think October in Loveland peaked with the first round of fall festivals, you'd be wrong. There's still some good stuff on the calendar, and it's worth knowing about before the month slips away.

On Sunday, October 25, The Promenade Shops at Centerra are hosting Halloween on the Promenade — free, noon to 3pm, and the whole family is welcome. We're talking Colorado's largest bubble tower, face painting, balloon twisting, costume contests, live music, and trick-or-treating at every participating shop. Kids get a free pumpkin and treat bag while supplies last. Pets are welcome, and yes, there's a pet costume contest. It's one of those Loveland things that makes October feel like October.

The Quiet Energy Dip Nobody Warns You About

Here's what we see at the shop every year around mid-October: a quiet energy dip that has nothing to do with one big thing. It's just the cumulative weight of a full month. Full weekends, shorter days, and a schedule that hasn't let up since early September.

That's not a complaint — it's just how fall goes here. But it's worth paying attention to, especially if you want to actually enjoy the last couple of weeks instead of grinding through them.

The customers who come in feeling the most steady right now tend to have something simple and consistent in their daily routine. Not elaborate. Just daily.

Two Things Worth Grabbing Before the Weekend

After a long afternoon at a festival or market, the Colorado Fresh Nano Amplified CBD Roll-On ($85) has been one of our most restocked items this fall. It combines nano-emulsified CBD with arnica, tea tree, and camphor in a no-mess roll-on. People pick it up after their first busy weekend and don't put it down.

For everyday balance — the kind you build around rather than reach for occasionally — Koi Anytime Balance CBD Gummies ($30) are a straightforward option. Broad-spectrum CBD, 20mg per serving, berry lemonade flavor. Easy habit, easy to keep.

While We're Talking October

Aims Community College opened its new Student Health and Wellness Center on the Greeley campus this month — primary care, mental health counseling, dental, and more, all in one place for students and their families. Good news for Northern Colorado.

And if you haven't gotten your flu shot yet, most pharmacies in Loveland have them available same-day. Worth checking off the list before the event season gets any busier.

We're open Monday through Saturday, 11am to 6pm, at 677 E. Eisenhower Blvd.
