Colorado’s wellness community is active this week — a major health equity gathering opens in the mountains, local mental health services are expanding across Northern Colorado, and the end-of-summer recreation surge is drawing people outdoors across the Front Range. For everyday people in Loveland, it’s a reminder that wellness support is closer than it’s ever been.
Colorado Health Symposium Opens Wednesday at Keystone
The 2026 Colorado Health Symposium runs July 29–31 at the Keystone Conference Center in Dillon, CO. This year’s theme — “Wisdom and Wonder: Weaving Generations Together for a Healthier Future” — reflects both the challenges of this moment in community health and an emphasis on cross-generational collaboration.
The event brings together nonprofit leaders, policymakers, grassroots organizers, and health advocates from across Colorado for three days of programming focused on building durable, resilient health coalitions. Sessions begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday and conclude by 12:30 p.m. Friday, with interpretation in both English and Spanish. It’s one of the state’s most significant annual gatherings for health and wellness leadership.
Weld County Expands Mobile Behavioral Health Services
Closer to the Front Range, Weld County is growing its mobile behavioral health program through a partnership with North Range Behavioral Health. The expansion brings up to 40 hours per week of outreach-based mental health services to residents who can’t easily reach traditional clinic settings.
For communities across the Loveland-Greeley corridor, expanded mobile mental health access matters. Summer brings physical and emotional demands — heat, schedule disruption, increased obligations — and having support closer to where people actually live makes a meaningful difference in who gets help.
End-of-Summer Trail Traffic Peaks Across Northern Colorado
Beyond the institutional news, there’s the familiar annual surge: Colorado’s outdoor recreation season hitting its final late-July push. Trails from Devil’s Backbone in Loveland to the Thompson River Greenbelt are seeing busy weekday mornings as people squeeze in last hikes, bike rides, and reservoir visits before August school schedules arrive.
Wellness shops across Northern Colorado — including The CBD Store at 677 E. Eisenhower Blvd. in Loveland — are fielding more recovery-focused questions this time of year. Hemp-derived CBD products, including topicals and daily supplements, have become a popular support option for active Coloradans looking for natural ways to maintain their routine through the season’s final push.
The CBD Store is open Monday through Saturday, 11am–6pm. Call (970) 966-7939 or stop in to talk through what fits your routine.
