Spring Has a Way of Shuffling the Shelf
Every time the season shifts, the products we reach for behind the counter shift too. It's not something we plan — it just happens. The days get longer, the sun hits different, and suddenly half the team is swapping out their winter evening routine for something lighter.
So we thought we'd share what's actually in rotation around here this May. No sales pitch, just honest picks from the people who spend all day surrounded by this stuff.
The Morning One
A few of us have been starting our days with the CBDfx Morning Capsules — CBD + CBG with Caffeine and Botanicals ($70). They've got 30mg of CBD and 30mg of CBG per capsule, plus a little caffeine and some botanical extras. It's not a coffee replacement — more like the thing you take alongside your coffee when you want to feel a little more dialed in without the jitters.
One of our team members described it as "the difference between being awake and being ready," which honestly sums it up pretty well. On these bright Colorado mornings when you can already feel the day is going to be a long one, having that steady foundation makes a noticeable difference.
The Pocket Essential
This one surprises people, but the Secret Wellness ReLeaf CBD Lip Balm ($6) has become something we all just carry now. Colorado spring is brutal on lips — the altitude, the dry air, the wind that shows up out of nowhere at 2 p.m. This little balm is broad-spectrum CBD, so you're getting localized soothing right where your skin is taking the most punishment.
At six bucks, it's the kind of thing you grab on a whim and then wonder how you lived without it. We've had more than a few customers come back the same week to grab a second one for their bag or car.
The Afternoon Reset
When it's warm enough to prop the shop door open and the afternoon light is coming in just right, somebody always cracks open a Rocky Mountain Soda ($2.50). It's CBD-infused, it's made right here in Colorado, and it tastes like an actual soda — not like someone dissolved a supplement into sparkling water and hoped for the best.
We keep a few flavors in the cooler, and they disappear faster than anything else on the shelf when the weather turns nice. There's something about a cold CBD soda on a warm May afternoon that just works.
What's Yours?
The fun part about working in a CBD shop is watching how people's routines change with the seasons. We've had customers come in this week swapping their heavy nighttime gummies for something lighter, or adding a topical because they finally started hiking again and their knees have opinions about it.
If you're in Loveland and curious what might fit your own May routine, come by and ask us. We'll tell you what we're actually using — no script, no upsell. Just the stuff we reach for ourselves.
