The Free Classes You've Been Walking Past
The Foundry Plaza in downtown Loveland is running free outdoor fitness all summer. Yoga with rotating Loveland instructors, Pilates on Tuesdays, and Barre with Fly Fitness on Sunday mornings — next one is July 12 at 8am. No membership, no registration required for most of them. Just show up.
If you've been meaning to move your body more this summer but haven't found the right entry point, this might be it. Low stakes, good energy, and downtown Loveland is a genuinely nice place to be at 8am before the heat sets in.
The Before Part
Here's what we've noticed at the shop: the customers who feel best through a Colorado summer tend to bookend their activity with something intentional. Not a 47-step routine. Just a small before and a small after.
Before they head out, a lot of them are reaching for a CBG gummy. The Daytime Boost CBG gummies ($30) have been one of our go-to recommendations this summer. CBG is often called the "mother cannabinoid" because it's the precursor other cannabinoids develop from as the plant matures. For a lot of people, it may support clear-headed focus without that wired feeling you get from a pre-workout. A couple gummies about 30 minutes before activity and they feel ready to go.
What to Do After
The after part is where Colorado summer really asks something of your body. Altitude means you're working harder than you realize. July heat adds up fast, especially on the trail. And if you're stacking activity — a morning Barre class, an afternoon bike ride, an evening walk — that accumulates over the week.
Topicals are what we reach for when the soreness is specific. The CBDfx Muscle & Joint Creams ($35) come in a cooling formula and a heating-and-cooling formula. The cooling version is what most people want in July — it absorbs quickly and the sensation kicks in right away. The heating formula is better for joints and deeper muscle tension.
For broader coverage — shoulders, lower back, calves — the Colorado Fresh Nano Amplified CBD Roll-On ($85) is made for exactly this. It uses nano-emulsified CBD alongside arnica, tea tree, aloe, and camphor. The roll-on applicator means you can hit multiple spots without making a mess, and the nano format may help it absorb faster than standard CBD topicals.
Keep It Simple
The best wellness habit is the one you actually stick to. A CBG gummy before your free Foundry yoga class, a roll-on or cream after — that's a reasonable Thursday morning in Loveland this July.
Come in and we can help you find the right fit. These aren't complicated products. They just work better when you know what you're reaching for and why.
