September 13 is closer than it feels. Loveland's Honey Festival is back at Fairgrounds Park — honey vendors, beeswax products, a mead garden, a kids' fun run, and the Honey Bee Hustle 5K all on the same Saturday morning. If you've gone before, you know it has a good energy. Farmers market energy, but with a theme.

We're fans of it because it's exactly the kind of unhurried local morning that's easy to skip when your calendar fills up — and also exactly the kind of thing you're glad you went to when you do.

The Last Real Weekend Before September Starts

Labor Day weekend is here first — three days that tend to land differently depending on whether you actually rest or just have a longer version of a summer Saturday. The people who use a long weekend to genuinely recover tend to feel more ready when September's routines kick in.

That doesn't mean doing nothing. It means being a little more intentional about what you're reaching for.

If you've had a physically demanding August — trail season, camping, lake weekends, whatever that looked like for you — your body has accumulated a lot. Even if you feel fine, there's a version of this weekend where you give it some help.

What We've Been Pointing People Toward

We've had a lot of conversations at the shop this week about the seasonal shift. People are thinking less about high-output recovery and more about steady, consistent support heading into fall. Here's what we keep reaching for:

The Wims Flavored Wellness tincture ($40) is one of the more versatile things on the shelf right now. It's a 1:1 CBD to Delta-9 THC blend — low dose, real flavor options — and it fits naturally into an evening wind-down without being heavy about it. The lemon basil and ginger lime options are both good late-summer choices.

For people who want something simpler and THC-free, the Koi Anytime Balance CBD Gummies ($30) are an easy daily habit — 20mg of broad-spectrum CBD per serving, berry lemonade flavor, nothing complicated. Good for building consistency rather than reaching for something situational.

If nighttime is the weak point — trouble falling asleep or waking up as temperatures start shifting — the CBDfx Calming Tincture ($55) pairs CBD and CBN in a formula designed to bring your nervous system down without sedating you. We sell more of it in September and October than any other time of year.

The Shop This Weekend

We're open Saturday 11am to 6pm at 677 E. Eisenhower Blvd. if you want to stop in before Labor Day weekend kicks off. Sunday we're open 12pm to 5pm.

And if you're making Honey Festival plans for September 13, we hope to see you around the market. It's a good way to start a fall Saturday in Loveland.
